Woodhaven Presbyterian Church in Irving welcomes new pastor Rev. Shane Webb! Rev. Webb will begin his tenure on April 22, 2019. He comes to us from First Presbyterian church in Mt. Pleasant, TX along with his wife Sarah and his two children, Daniel and Lydia. Shane is a native Texan who grew up in Houston. He graduated from Austin College in 2007 where he received his B.A. in Religious Studies and Spanish. He graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2011. Sarah will be working as a bilingual speech therapist for Irving ISD.

Rev. Webb is fluent in Spanish and has studied abroad in Venezuela, Chile, Spain and Italy. He and his wife served as missionaries in Barranquilla, Colombia and Peru. Shane has experience as a youth director, chaplain and has supported other churches throughout east Texas. Due to his tireless work, the Mt. Pleasant community recently awarded him with Rotarian of the Year and the Clay Harris Leadership Award for service.

Shane describes himself as an includer, arranger, connector, and a person who wins others over. Woodhaven looks forward to welcoming Rev. Webb who will bring energy and joy to our congregation!
