Michaels is inviting the Irving community to celebrate the grand opening of its newly remodeled MacArthur Park store on Friday, July 24. The free, family-friendly event will feature hands-on crafts, live music, giveaways, local food favorites, games, balloon animals, face painting, a local maker market, creative demonstrations, and more. 

Guests will also be among the first to experience Michaels' new store format, featuring expanded creative services, customization stations, flexible classroom space, an enhanced party area, and fresh inspiration throughout the store. 

The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. and will include: 

Michaels is proud to celebrate alongside community partners including the Irving Fire Department, Irving Police Department, Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, Irving Girls Cheerleader Association, Nimitz High School Band, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, and Raising Cane's. 

The celebration is free and open to the public.
