Keep Irving Beautiful Seeks Nominations for Annual Awards

Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) is asking for nominations for the 2019 Mayor and KIB Annual Awards. The awards honor local individuals, organizations and businesses that have gone above and beyond in making Irving a better place to live, work, play or visit. KIB will recognize these “environmental stars” during a reception on Aug. 5. The categories include:

  • Youth Leadership
  • Educator
  • Faith Group
  • Civic Organization
  • Business and Industry
  • Media
  • Lifetime Achievement
  • Civil Servant
  • Green Government
  • KIB Hometown

Keep Irving Beautiful is a nonprofit, grassroots, leadership organization dedicated to educating the community about litter abatement, recycling, and beautification to help preserve the health and promote the social and economic prosperity of the city.
