Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub

With three locations across DFW in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Plano, Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub is an awesome place to catch a show. There are a ton of comedians that perform there, and you can pick your show based on their style. If you’re feeling brave, stop by on Wednesdays, where you can join in on open-mic night. Thursday night shows are free! This is an awesome, popular comedy club that is definitely worth a visit soon.

Addison Improv Comedy Club

The Addison Improv Comedy Club has been around since 1963 – it’s an icon! With an array of different comedians and a full-service restaurant, this would be the perfect date night if you’re looking to do something different than your typical dinner-and-a-movie date. In Addison off of Belt Line Road, it’s a perfect location between the city and the suburbs for those who want a fun night out without too long of a drive home.

Dallas Comedy House

The Dallas Comedy House only opened in 2009, but it has already become a staple in the DFW area. With a variety of performers making their way through, you’ll have plenty of options when picking a show. Something else that makes this place unique is that they have classes for aspiring comedians. You never know – you may be the next Jerry Seinfeld!

Backdoor Comedy Club

The Backdoor Comedy Club has had a presence in Dallas for a while now in many different locations. Hailed by D Magazine as Dallas’ best comedy club, this need-to-see place is now located at the DoubleTree by Hilton downtown. It was originally brought to life by two incredible comediennes and is sure to entertain!

Don’t forget to do a little research before you go! These comedy clubs offer a variety of comedic styles and even a few opportunities to show off your own abilities onstage! If you’re thinking you want to bring your kids along, there are occasionally “all-age” shows, but many are for adults only; be sure to check prior to your selected show.
