Rick Stopfer Elected President of the Irving Heritage Society

Rick Stopfer was elected Irving Heritage Society President during the organization’s May  general meeting.  He has been very active within the Irving community having served on the City Council and is currently the Irving representative to the DART board.  Installation of the board was conducted by former Mayor and former Heritage Society President R. Dan Matkin, followed by an ice cream social.  Stopfer and the board are already busy with plans for the next year.  Check the website www.irvingheritage.com for upcoming events or call 972-252-3838.
