Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Description
The purpose of the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper is to assist the Executive Director with bookkeeping and administrative duties related to the management of the Texas K-12 CTO Council office. This is a part-time position.
Reports To: Executive Director
Knowledge and Skills:
?Knowledge of Quickbooks
?Knowledge of basic office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Pro, Gmail)
?Excellent communication skills
?Excellent organizational skills
General Duties:
The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper will assist the Executive Director an average of 5 hours per week with administrative duties and weekly bookkeeping for the organization. These duties may include but are not limited to:
Quickbooks
•Enter deposits each week
•Invoice customers
•Follow up with past due invoices by email or phone
•Reconcile bank statements monthly
•Assist in the preparation of financial monthly reports
•Assist in the preparation of yearly financial reports
Administrative Duties
•Assist in communications with members & sponsors as needed
•Assist with the preparation of programs for meetings & name badges
•Attend annual conference to provide support at registration
Other duties as assigned.
Some travel involved.
