The King Lives - Elvis Tribute - Kraig Parker

Kraig Parker’s award winning tribute to Elvis Presley, “The King Lives,” is a world class show that has astonished audiences for nearly 20 year.  It will be presented by the Entertainment Series of Irving on Saturday, January 7, at 7:30pm in the Irving Arts Center Carpenter Hall, 3333 North MacArthur, Irving.  Parker will perform with his very own 10-piece group, the Royal Tribute Band.   He is personally managed and will be introduced by Charles Stone, Elvis Presley’s former tour producer from 1970-1977.

Parker’s powerful voice, electric moves and tasteful charisma will leave you ‘all shook up’ and screaming for more!  This electrifying entertainer has performed from Vegas to London and is not to be missed.  Critics have claimed “this is as close as it gets!” about his performance.

The ESI Board has guaranteed fun from the moment you step into the Arts Center.  There will be a Parade of Fashions from the 50’s.  Concert goers are encouraged to come dressed in the Elvis era with poodle skirts, side burns, Fonzi jackets, Elvis glasses, etc.  All participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes.  An exhibit of Elvis memorabilia will be displayed.  Some Elvis items will be for sale.

Tickets are available at the Irving Arts Center box office www.irvingartscenter.com or by calling 972-252-ARTS (2787).  For additional information, visit www.entertainmentseries.com.  This project is funded in part by the City of Irving through the Irving Arts Board.
