Kubecca Kuba and Rebecca
Rebecca Lowe and Kuba Kawnik will take center stage as Kubecca on Saturday, February 4, at 7:30pm in the Carpenter Hall of the Irving Arts Center, 3333 N. MacArthur.  Presented by the Entertainment Series of Irving, these two world-class musicians, acclaimed Broadway musical vocalist and a spectacular Vibraphone virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist, are in Irving for one performance only on Feb. 4.

Kuba Kawnik, originally from Poland, began his musical career at the age of four.  Although he is best known for his performance on the Vibraphone, he has also mastered some unusual and difficult instruments, including the Theremin – a rare and complex contemporary invention accessible to but a very few virtuosos worldwide.  Rebecca Lowe is best known for her roles in the musicals Evita and Jekyll & Hyde.  Booked right out of college, and as the youngest actress to perform the role of Eva Peron in Evita, she received standing ovations and critical acclaim throughout North America and Europe.  Experience these exceptionally gifted artists and enjoy an exciting show, brimming with breathtaking virtuosity and pure fun!  Check out this brief video of Kubecca    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9HSp9tblOg
