  1988 sci-fi adventure “Mac and Me” at 9:15 pm on Thursday\, Aug. 31 at th
 e Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff. \n“Mac and Me” tells the story of an alien a
 ccidentally stranded on Earth who befriends a young boy and tries to get t
 he extraterrestrial back to his family again. If that sounds familiar\, it
 ’s because it’s a direct rip-off of Steven Spielberg’s “E.T.” if Spielberg
  was also making a feature length commercial for McDonald’s. \nEven if you
 ’ve never seen it\, chances are you’ve at least seen the infamous cliff fa
 lling scene that Paul Rudd has used to punk Conan O’Brien for more than 20
  years. Yes\, THAT movie. \nThe Mocky Horror Picture Show features three c
 omedians (Liz Barksdale\, Danny Gallagher and Albie Robles) crack jokes at
  the movie on microphones in front of a live audience. They also throw pro
 mpts on the screen with a countdown so the audience can yell jokes and thr
 ow props at the screen as well. \nEveryone who attends will get a special
  “Mocky Meal” bag of props to use during the movie along with a few other
