DESCRIPTION:Vann Wellness Group is centrally located in Coppell and offers
  the longest-running\, only exclusively NSSI (Non-Suicidal Self-Injury) su
 pport groups for teens in all of N. Texas.  The groups are for teens ages
  13 to 17 who have a recent or current history of the behavior.  The Found
 er of the Institute for NSSI\, Lori Vann\, MA\, LPCS\, offers an initial a
 ssessment phone call to see if a teen is appropriate for the group or if o
 ther services are recommended.   \nThe groups are on Monday from 5:15 PM t
 o 6:15 PM and have a maximum attendance of 7 teens.  The next group is Jun

 xpert\, Lori Vann\, who has written four books on the topic\, served over
  630 individuals with a history of the behavior\, and trained thousands of
  mental health professionals on her protocol throughout North America.   \
 nThere are at least 35 forms of NSSI\, over 30 reasons why someone engages
  in the behavior\, and there is over 60% correlation between NSSI and suic
 idal ideation.  NSSI starts in elementary school and can continue into lat
